Goodbye 2024
2024 was a horrible year. My mom died. A close friend died. We sold the cottage and remodeled our basement. I was forced to improvise the entire summer for making content. It was tough.
But we also spent more time together as a family. My oldest dug into his first year at University. My youngest joined cadets and he’s putting in the effort and hours. My wife and couldn’t be any prouder. I reconnected with some family members and made some headway with some brands I’ve been chasing.
Point for point, the good outweighs the bad. But 2024 was tough. Though I’m happy to see it go, I really enjoyed the challenges it presented. I feel like I grew as a person and we got closer as a family. Death does that.
