Olight Oclip EDC clip flashlight
Olight Oclip – the clippable EDC flashlight
Who thought of this? What a great little flashlight. At first I was reluctant to spend much time with the Olight Oclip but all it took was one trip to the dogpark for me to completely change my mind on it.
This is a tiny EDC with a bright light. The Olight Oclip also has a RED led light that pushes out 4 Lumens for upto 5 hours
Where to start on the features?
First off the size is perfect. Its just under 2 inches (48.5mm) long and less than an inch wide (21mm) The weight is 30 grams with the battery. Speaking of the battery, it’s a 280 mAh USB-C rechargable battery and the package includes a short cable.
The clip itself has a strong grip and a magnet is built into it making the Olight Oclip very versatile. It can stand up, be clipped to a hat or helmet or use it’s magnetic clip anywhere else. There is a single button that cycles through all the options that the Olight Oclip offers. One of my favourite features of the olight oclip is the ability to clip it to my dogs collar when we’re at the dog park as a impromptu light up collar. If I was to attach this to my keychain at the hole on the clip, it could be both my EDC flashlight and my temporary light up dog collar.
The Olight Oclip has several lighting options.
Moonlight 1.5 Lumens with a 30 hour battery life
Low is 10 Lumens for 12 hours
Medium is 100 Lumens for 90 minutes
High is 300 Lumens for 60 minutes
The bulb itself is a Cool White CCT: 5700-6500K
The switch has a LED built into it that tells you the battery levels
Green = 60%-100%
Orange = 30%-60%
Red = 0%-30%
