Brinyte HC01 Noctua headlamp
BriNyte HC01 Noctua headlamp
Talk about surprised! The Brinyte headlamp is a real piece of craftsmanship. It’s a well built headlamp with a solid strap and a well thought out design. They have several patents on the strap and how it works and you can see the ingenuity in it.
Long term use will determine how well it works but for now, the strap and it’s tightening system was unexpectedly new and completely different from any other headlamp on the market currently.
Enough of that, lets get into the basics.
First off, the Brinyte headlamp came really well packaged. It’s a tight box with a manual and a USB-C cable for charging. The unit itself comes with a removable rechargeable battery that can also be replaced with 3x AAA batteries in a pinch.
The fact that the light itself can be removed from the strap and used as a lantern makes the Brinyte headlamp stand out in a small class of already impressive prodcuts. It also has 3 bulbs on the face but I wasn’t able to get more detail on who was the actual manufacture of the bulbs. The main 1000 Lumen light is powered by one button and has several modes. Eco, low, medium and turbo. There is also a strobe feature (4x clicks). The other button controls the other two smaller LED lights, one red, one white.
One fun fact to point out is that you can have the main bulb on at the same time you have one of the side lights on. I was really impressed by that.
The Brinyte headlamp has good range when walking through the woods at night and was really comfortable.
