Arpha A14 4K dashcam full review
This is the Arpha A14 4K dashcam. It’s a budget dashcam that can accept a 512GB microSD card and records a good image during the day and dusk hours. It’s “acceptable” for 90% of the drivers out there and I’d highly suggest it for drivers on a budget.
Let’s go over some details with it.
Installation:
Using the Application:
The Arpha A14 Dashcam does have access to voice control which I didn’t mention completely in the first video. That feature allows you to say “Arpha, Lock The Video” and it will save the video to a ‘safe’ folder so it won’t be overwritten.
That said, the app crashed numerous times while I was trying to review it.
Personally, I would suggest that you just remove the microSD card from the Arpha A14 dashcam if you want to see or edit the videos it recorded. Overall, the dashcam wasn’t too bad. It was the app which was the weak link in this review.
I’ll be giving this away sometime in mid-july to someone who is subscribed to the FIN club here on Mike Dancy
