From notebooks to portable cassette voice recorders, I’ve used them all at one point in life. I thought that taking notes verbally would help me get my thoughts from out of my head and onto paper but in reality, I just ended up with boxes of notepads and cassettes that I never used. A few years ago, Apple made it possible to ‘copy transcript’ from the voice notes option and that made moving my voice notes to digital paper a LOT easier. Then along came ChatGPT and using the ‘copy transcript option’, I was able to put my voice notes into a chat bot and give it directions on what to do. My mind was blown.
But then Pocket AI reached out and asked me to review their latest device. What this does knocks what I was doing before out of the park. It is a great device for salespeople, students, authors and anyone that wants their voice notes transcribed. If you take notes at a meeting, this device does it for you. Taking notes in class? This does it. For me, it was the ability to record client meetings and get a break down of what they need and WANT to close this deal. Now I had an unfair advantage.
